The Love of a Grandparent

They told me grandparenthood was the BEST. I believed what they said. I could make sense of that in my head, but I couldn’t feel the depth of what they said. His arrival was the day in which my heart caught up to my head. How did I fall in love so quickly? He showed no real personality. He had no thoughts to share. He had no immediate plans. His manners were nonexistent and he hadn’t spoken a word. Yet…I loved him to the core! I am hopelessly smitten with this baby boy. He has grown to show his personality. He definitely has plenty of thoughts to share. He has his own minute by minute plans. Certainly, he communicates clearly and his exquisite manners consist of smile when you are smiled at. I love and adore you, Tucker!
