Dear Doctor's Office Receptionist,

I noticed how you treated the elderly gentleman at your counter today. Thank you for repeating yourself two times when he couldn't hear you. Thank you for explaining further when he didn't understand. I saw you look him in the eye. I saw your gentle smile. I heard you respond to his gruff replies with a calm voice. I noticed when you took extra steps to show him where to go and assured him that he'd be seen. Thank you for allowing him to hang onto his dignity at a time in his life when perhaps that's all he has. Just wanted you to know that your grace was noticed today.
